Al Nahda National School Abu Dhabi is the only winner of English story writing competition .
Students were given the certificates by the Sheikha Latifa Representative and the Judge Ms. Julia awarded the certificates.

Al Nahda Robotics Teams (Elementary) participated in the World Robotics Olympiad UAE Finals Regular Category on October 16, 2016 at the IPIC Sports Arena, Abu Dhabi. The teams were accompanied by Mrs. Naima Al Gharroudi (K-12 Awards and Competitions Coordinator) and by their coaches, Ms. Monica Solis, Ms. Ann Shaji and Ms. Nisreen Alkhun, WRO was organized by ADEC and more than 40 schools participated all over UAE.

Today’s assembly was about generosity, students of 8G and their grade advisor Mrs. Fatima Djendara have prepared speech and information about the topic, they introduced generosity through critical thinking questions (students questioned the attendants of our assembly, students of grade 7,8,9) and they have supported their information with details from The Holy Quran.

On 20th and 21st September 2016, The school has organized two orientation sessions for grades 7-9 students during the morning assembly. Based on our commitment to provide the best chances for our secondary students to be guided on different specialization and career demands. Al Nahda National School for Girls hosted over 37 International and National Universities on the ANNGS Open University Day 2016 on Sunday February 28th 2016 in an attempt to help students of grade 10, 11 & 12 to decide their future learning. Al Nahda National School for Girls organized in co-operation with social police service a lecture about negative aspects of smoking on health. The lecture was presented to grade 9 and 10 students bythe speaker Lieutenant/ Fatima Al Hosani.
On the occasion of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, students of Al Nahda National School for Girls have participated on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 19Th, 20th, 21st, Jan.2016, in World Future Energy Summit 2016 (WEFS), which is the most recognized event worldwide for discussing the renewable energy; energy efficiency and the clean technologies.
